Can I have a ring sizing device?

Due to the high volume of requests for complementary ring sizing devices, we exclusively dispatch them to customers who have placed an order. In the event that you are uncertain of your ring size, we kindly request that you utilise the drop-down menu during the ordering process to request a ring sizing device. Following your request, we will promptly dispatch the sizing device on the following business day.

Is the postage free?

Our philosophy is centered around providing our customers with exceptional value. In keeping with this ethos, we offer free recorded delivery as standard on all ordered items. Furthermore, for our Fine jewellery collection pieces, we provide free Special Delivery to our customers.

Can I exchange or refund?

We at Dainty London allow our customers to return purchased products, on the condition that they are unused and in a re-saleable condition within 14 days of delivery. Upon verification of the product's eligibility for return, the refund amount will be credited to the original payment card used during the purchase. It is important to note that if the product is not in a fully saleable condition, or if the packaging is damaged, we reserve the right to decline the refund request.

It is also important to note that we do not refund postage costs. Moreover, we regret to inform our valued customers that we cannot accept returns or offer refunds on any earrings due to hygiene reasons. Similarly, 'Made to order/bespoke' items are not eligible for return or refund.

Can I design my own piece of jewellery?

Our Fine jewellery collection presents a unique opportunity for our customers to design and create solid gold and platinum pieces that will serve as enduring expressions of their personal style. This exquisite collection not only allows for customisation, but also provides a lifetime affiliation with your cherished jewellery pieces. It is not uncommon for members of the same family to order pieces, creating an inter-generational connection that will stand the test of time.

We offer a range of customisation options including the ability to adjust any of our ring styles, or change any of the stones to meet your specific budget. You simply communicate your budget to us and we will provide you with a curated list of different precious stones to choose from, enabling you to create a truly unique and personal piece of jewellery.

How is the jewellery sustainable?

At Dainty London, we prioritise sustainability in all aspects of our operations. To this end, we strive to incorporate recycled sterling silver into our designs wherever possible. Moreover, we are committed to utilising only environmentally friendly and recyclable materials in our packaging, further demonstrating our dedication to sustainability.

In line with our values, we are actively exploring the use of fair trade gold and fair trade gold vermeil for our future collections. This commitment to ethical sourcing and responsible production practices aligns with our overarching goal of creating beautiful jewellery pieces that are also kind to the environment and society.

Can I try before I buy?

We are proud to have established partnerships with several boutiques and shops across the United Kingdom. Moreover, we regularly organize pop-up shops in John Lewis and other prominent stores located in and around London. Our wide-ranging selection of jewellery items, including rings, bracelets, and necklaces, are available for you to try on at these locations.

Can you repair?

At Dainty London, we stand behind the quality and durability of our jewellery. We are committed to providing our customers with the highest levels of service and satisfaction. Therefore, in the unlikely event that your Dainty London jewellery item breaks within a year of purchase, we offer a free repair service.

Please note that while we will repair the item free of charge, you will be responsible for covering the cost of return postage charges. Our aim is to ensure that our customers are completely satisfied with their Dainty London purchases and that they have jewellery pieces that can be treasured for years to come.

Where is my jewellery made?

At Dainty London, we take great pride in the quality and craftsmanship of our jewellery pieces. Our designs were conceived in the renowned Hatton Garden district of London, known for its rich history and heritage in the jewellery industry. Each piece is then expertly handmade in our workshop located in the picturesque countryside of Essex, where our team of skilled artisans bring the designs to life with the utmost care and attention to detail.

How will my jewellery be packaged?

At Dainty London, we are dedicated to creating a special and unforgettable experience for our customers. Each of our jewellery pieces is carefully and lovingly gift-wrapped in a luxury Plummett grey matchbox, with our logo beautifully embossed in gold foil on the outer lid. In addition, we provide a complimentary jewellery polishing cloth and a jewellery care guide with every order, so that your jewellery can be cherished and cared for in the best possible way.

To ensure that your order is protected and arrives in pristine condition, we use a branded Dainty London postal box for packaging. We are committed to providing our customers with an exceptional service, and we strive to exceed expectations at every stage of the ordering process.

Can I add a gift note?

That's why we offer our customers the option to add a customised gift message during the checkout process. Simply enter your message in the designated notes section, and we will print it onto our luxury branded paper. What happens if my jewellery tarnishes?

At Dainty London, we take great pride in the quality of our jewellery and want it to remain beautiful and shiny for as long as possible. We include a jewellery care instructions card with every order to help you care for your jewellery and prevent tarnishing.

While our jewellery is crafted to be long-lasting, it is important to keep in mind that exposure to pollutants, lotions, perfumes, bleach, and chlorine can all contribute to tarnishing. To prevent tarnishing, we recommend that you always remove your jewellery before swimming, cleaning your home, or working with chemicals.

To maintain the original condition of your jewellery, we suggest you use hot soapy water, with a dash of washing up liquid, to bathe the silver and then gently clean the surface with a soft-bristled toothbrush. After washing, be sure to use the jewellery polishing cloth (included in your order) to rub over the surface. This will bring your jewellery back to life and restore its original shine.
