What happens if my jewellery tarnishes?
As long as you follow the jewellery care instructions card you received with your order then your jewellery shouldn’t tarnish. However, gold and silver will naturally tarnish with exposure to the pollutants in the air. Lotions, perfumes, bleach and chlorine all. Have adverse effects on the quality and look of any metal so always remove prior to swimming, cleaning your home, or working with chemicals. To maintain the original condition of your jewellery, you can bathe the silver in hot soapy water (add a little dash of washing up liquid) and then gently clean the surface with with a soft bristled toothbrush.Once dry, use the jewellery polishing cloth (included in your order) to rub over the surface, this will bring your jewellery back to life again.
