In this blog post, we talk you through the Dainty London bespoke journey and the creation of your very own personal piece…

Step 1 – Share your dream

Creating your own jewellery piece is a personal journey, and one that requires vision from you and a little help from us.

During the initial consultation, you’ll work with our founder and designer, Jade, to develop your unique design. She’ll share her expertise and jewellery design experience to guide you every step of the way. It’s also up to you to gather inspiration, which, as you’ll discover, is all around you as Jewelry This describes:

“Many great designers in many different industries have taken their inspiration from nature; from landscape paintings to textiles to jewelry design. To receive inspiration from nature, pay special attention to the shapes, textures and colors you see in natural settings – in plants, animals, rock formations, water etc. Think of nature in motion, note its contrasts, and examine it from different angles to gain new perspectives.”

Step 2 – Develop a design

From all that wonderful inspiration, design ideas can grow, and it’s a fabulous feeling to see your dreams come to life. At this stage, you’ll work with our team to decide on your materials. We have a selection of carefully curated precious metals (including recycled sterling silver and Fairtrade gold) and ethically sourced gemstones to work with.

Step 3 – Sign off the sketches

Before we get to work crafting your signature piece, we want to make sure every last detail not just meets but exceeds your expectations. We do this through artistic visualisation, developing detailed design sketches that will bring your piece to life before your very eyes.

Once complete, you’ll review these sketches, make any changes you desire, and approve them before the real magic begins.

Step 4 – Time to get crafting!

Now comes the fun part – creating your incredible piece! We’ll of course take the reins to turn all those details you loved on paper into a real, handcrafted jewellery piece that you can treasure for years to come. We’ll keep you in the loop throughout; all you have to do is get ready for the big reveal.
