Dainty London Jewellery

We want every piece of Dainty London jewellery to be something you treasure. Each order is carefully prepared and packaged by our team, and we want you to enjoy a lovely experience from the moment your parcel arrives.

Delivery

Complimentary UK Standard Delivery on orders over £125.

• Orders under £125: £3.95 standard UK delivery.

• Orders over £125: Complimentary standard UK delivery.

• All orders are carefully packaged and dispatched from our workshop.

Delivery times are estimates and will be communicated at checkout.

Returns & Exchanges

We understand that sometimes a piece may not be quite right for you. If you change your mind about your purchase, you can return eligible items in accordance with your statutory consumer rights.

Change of Mind Returns

• You must notify us within 14 days of receiving your order if you wish to cancel your online purchase.

• Once you have notified us, you have a further 14 days to return the item.

• Customers are responsible for the cost of returning unwanted items.

• Original items must be returned unworn, in their original condition and securely packaged.

• We recommend using a tracked and insured postal service, as we cannot accept responsibility for returns lost in transit.

Refunds

Once your return has been received and inspected, we will process your refund to your original payment method within the applicable legal timeframe.

For eligible change of mind cancellations, the refund will include the cost of the jewellery and any standard delivery charge originally paid.

Where complimentary delivery was provided on orders over £125, there is no original delivery charge to reimburse.

Return postage costs are not reimbursed for change of mind returns.

Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Items

We take great pride in the quality and design of our jewellery. If your item arrives faulty, damaged or incorrect, please contact us as soon as possible.

We will assess the issue and arrange appropriate return postage at our expense where applicable, or reimburse you for the postage.

Your statutory consumer rights remain unaffected.

Bespoke & Made to Order Jewellery

Please note that any jewellery ordered with specific alterations or personalised requirements will be treated as a bespoke or made to order piece.

This includes, but is not limited to:

• Requesting a different gemstone from the standard design.

• Requesting a longer or shorter chain than the standard length.

• Choosing alternative gemstones, finishes or materials.

• Requesting any other individual design alterations or bespoke specifications.

As these pieces are created or adapted specifically to your individual requirements, they may not be suitable for resale through our website as standard Dainty London designs.

Where an item genuinely qualifies as personalised or made to order under applicable consumer legislation, the usual 14 day change of mind cancellation right may not apply.

Where an item does not qualify for this exemption, your statutory cancellation rights remain unaffected. If you request a return outside your statutory rights, any discretionary refund will be considered individually by the Dainty London team.

Please note that all bespoke and made to order jewellery remains covered by your statutory rights in relation to faulty, damaged or misdescribed goods.

Important Information

• Earrings and other pierced jewellery may be subject to specific hygiene-related restrictions where a lawful exemption applies. This does not affect your rights in relation to faulty or misdescribed goods.

• Custom-made, personalised and bespoke jewellery may be exempt from the usual 14-day cancellation right, except where faulty or not as described.

• Please contact us before sending any item back so that we can assist with the returns process.
